Descendants - Vampires created by Paragon
Domina - The term used by Descendants to reference the Paragon who made them
Essence - A power manifested by only the most powerful vampires. It can extend their power, control emotions and be used as a weapon
Innocents - Humans unaware of the existence of vampires
Intrusion - A vampire's ability to break into the mind to control an individual or manipulate their memories
Paragon - Incredibly powerful vampires capable of creating other vampires. Revered and protected by their kind
Sanctuary - Typically a place of residency for vampires, however, it can also be any other safe house.
Sense of the Infernal - A rare ability seen in humans, allowing them to sense the presence of a vampire
Guardian - A Descendant who is employed by another vampire. Their role is to protect the interests of their employer, whatever those interests might be
